Light up the dark

     Darkness is nothing more than the absence of light. Darkness doesn't even have it's own definition. It has to define itself by the standard of light. That seems pretty pathetic, huh? The thing is, however, that this world is covered in darkness. If the darkness is so pathetic, why is it so widespread?
     It's everywhere because we let it get that way. We, the church, have been content on letting the world rot in its moral decay while we dress up for Jesus once a week. I'm not saying that every church in the world is like that, but a shockingly large number of Christians are. It's a sin of omission. We aren't necessarily doing anything wrong, but what are we doing that is right? It's time to stand up and be the light in the darkness of this world. We were chosen by God  to spread His light. You don't have to roam the streets condemning everyone to Hell, either. All it takes to reach this world is LOVE. Show people that you really care about them. After all, this life isn't about us. It's about God and His desire to have a relationship with every single person on this Earth. It's time to destroy the darkness. Let your light SHINE. Much Love!
